Sci-Fi above!

I first returned to the lobby of University High, to get some footage of the loudly buzzing lights from my previous blog.
It wasn't long before I was engaded in a game of bouncing between lights, as if playing a real-life sci-fi arcade game.
Editing this footage was exciting, watching the video become more an more fantastic and surreal as I cut.
Doors and Elipses.

I wanted to create a sequence of repetitive shapes, so I started taking stills of doors, as they are pretty much everywhere throughout this part of the city.
While looking into a reflection in the window of one of the doors, I realized I could see over 5 eliptical shapes behind me. I began taking stills of these, finding more and more to capture as I walked about.
Man-made circles everywhere!
They're Everywhere!

While taking stills around this area of the city, I began to notice similar man-made shapes. I wanted to exploit these, to exxagerate this by orienting the camera similarly as I captured these shapes.
Rogue Swings!

I really wanted to snag a video of the swingset behind University High, but my camera was deciding to refuse to take video clips at this point. Determined, I decided to take a bunch of still of the swings in motion, to later edit together into an animated sequence.
This probably turned out much more interesting than the video clip would have. The swings... are... swinging... by themselves!!!
